Our journey began when our co-founder, Emma, experienced a heart-wrenching incident. While she was sleeping, her Dexcom G6 sensor got caught on the bedsheet and ripped out in an instant. The pain was excruciating, but the financial burden of losing a £50 Dexcom sensor was equally distressing. Determined to find a solution, Emma and her partner Charlie embarked on a quest to protect her CGM.

After scouring the internet for answers, they stumbled upon adhesive patches. However, the available options fell short of their expectations. That's when they realized they could do better. They transformed their spare room into a workshop and began crafting CGM patches of unparalleled quality and design. Thus, Type One Style was born.
